This two-day, instructor led course introduces the student to the Informatica 9.1 Analyst and Developer Tools through lecture and hands-on exercises. '

The course is designed for business users and data stewards who are new to IDE.

Informatica Analyst is a web-based application client that can be used to analyze, profile, and score data in an enterprise. The course will introduce attendees to the Analyst Tool, creating projects and objects, profiling data and identifying anomalies using Tags and Comments. It will demonstrate how to use profiling results to buildReference Tables and Scorecards, how to collaborate with Developers using Rules, Comments and Tags.

After successfully completing this course, students should be able to:

- Be able to navigate through the Analyst and Developer Tools
- Learn how to create projects and objects
- Cover Metadata and Data access/import
- Perform Column and Rule Profiling
 - Apply prebuilt and custom built Rules
 - Apply Tags and Comments to objects in the project
- Learn how to manage reference tables (RTM)
- Collaborate on projects – including applying developer built rules
- Perform Data Quality Scorecarding
- Build mappings using Core Transformations
- Perform Join Analysis Profiling
- Use the Advanced Profiling options available in the Developer.
