This exciting, intensive four-day class is design to educate the student on PowerCenter Administration within an Informatica domain. The Informatica 9 architecture will be described. Then following best practices, the platform will be installed and configured as will some applicable application services. Security will be addresses through the addition and configuration of users, groups, privileges, roles and permissions. The management of the Informatica domain and repositories, including the backup and migration of the Informatica domain database in addition to the upgrading of a license. Implement the metadata reporter and repository MX views. Use the command line to manage the domain and repository and start and control workflows. Set up Reference Table management, import and edit a reference table.
